It has always been a passion of mine to find ways to assist others in making their lives better, whether it is physical, mental or emotional. I try to acknowledge negative aspects of every situation without fueling its power and in turn, creating a positive space for the mind, body and soul.

I have been going to Yoga Om in Huntersville for over a year now. I was lucky in choosing the best yoga studio ever for my first experience. The atmosphere is very calming and soothing. I am able to leave my cares of the world behind for the time that I am there. Joy is a wonderful teacher! She is very attentive to the needs of the students and she intuitively knows your capabilities. She always tells us "to be patient with your practice". So you feel like you are on an endless journey and not a destination. I am very happy at Yoga Om and would not change a thing!
