7 hires on Thumbtack
Jason was absolutely wonderful! He responded to every question I had ahead of our appointment. He was super affordable for the great quality of work and professionalism he supplies! I would definitely hire Jason again for any projects we had!Dec 11, 2017Verified
I did my homework before hiring one of the local five-star assembly professionals on Thumbtack. I got bids from several pros who had been hired more times on Thumbtack, but I also chased down a link to Jason's website which showed that he has been hired a lot of times as well. On his site, I saw a lot of photos from other projects he had done around the Charlotte area. Jason was crisp in his communications both before and after I hired him. We just moved to the area a few days ago, didn't know anyone, and had a slew of stuff that we ordered online coming for assembly. I asked Jason to put together an outdoor patio set. A few hours before he arrived, four indoor barstools arrived and he was willing to stay late to help put them together. Jason even helped me with a table that I didn't finish putting together the night before because my fingers got "allen wrench fatigue." When he learned that we new to the city, Jason also shared his local knowledge about things to do in the community. Not only do we have a new go-to guy for assembly (we've already discussed another project) but we have a connection in our new town and we find both valuable. Well done, Jason!Aug 27, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing estimates are simply based on the time it takes to assemble the item. Large, complex items such as home gyms or media centers take longer than a table, desk or nightstand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start with an email asking for a good time to chat over the phone. We can make sure we're on the same page about the services requested and schedule. I like to make sure a customer has all of my contact information as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've done odd jobs/handyperson work my whole life.
