I have been so blessed to have Christy edit four of my five novels. Her editing skills are fantastic!! She's made each book better than I could have done on my own - not only her line edits, but also her insights, suggestions, and character comments. She is supportive and encouraging, and dead-on accurate with her technical work. I hope I never have to produce a book without her assistance!!

I've had the privilege of using Christina Miller's expertise in editing, several times with different books. Her gift at spotting gramatical errors, plot problems and an overview of how the story reads is excellent. I highly recommend her services for newbie or established authors. Do give the Mentor's Pen/Christina Miller a chance to prove her worth. She's easy to work with, and you'll not be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing ranges from $6-7 per 250 words for substantive editing, depending on the amount of work the manuscript needs. Proofreading is $3 per 250 words. Occasionally, I can do a rush job for an additional fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a two-page sample edit so potential clients can see my editing style and determine whether my services would be a good fit with their projects. When I return the sample edit, I include the per-page price. That way, the client has no surprises at the end of the job. If we come to an agreement and decide to work together, I send them a contract, which we both will sign.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a published author with Barbour Books and contracted for my first released with Love Inspired Historical, a Christian imprint of Harlequin. I'm a graduate of Bethany College of Missions (now Bethany Global University) with degrees in theology and missiology, and I'm a pastor's wife.
