River was very professional and arrived at the time we set. I hired them to repair some plaster that had water damage along side the bathtub. He analyzed the area and found that the bathtub seal was deteriorated so water was leaking into the walls. He fixed the leak which we wouldn’t have known about, applied a fast drying plaster, and painted the area with some left over paint we had in the garage. I was given one price per hour and i asked for Another thing to be done. It ended up been over priced for what it was in my opinion, ended up paying double what I was expecting. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our usual fees are 75 for a service call which will cover most small quick projects. If not then the 75 dollars will be applied towards the job. We work rather fast and feel bidding the work is of greater benefit to the customer as people who charge an hourly rate take longer than usual to complete the job or task. Bidding the work assures you that the project or task will not be stretched out to gain more money from the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially, we will contact the client who will provide a description of the project to be completed, during which more precise details (time frame and budget) will be discussed. An appointment time will be set-up with the client to perform the work. A phone call or text to confirm appointment time will occur usually the day before or the morning of the scheduled task or project. Once the project is completed to satisfaction we will accept payment. A standard 30 day warranty of the work is typically applied to all tasks and projects, this is to ensure client satifaction and continued confidence in our workmanship. We then await a happy review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our company has been in the home service industry for over 30 years. Our team includes professionals that are certified in electrical and plumbing, making us qualified to complete repair, service and improvement projects. Being in the home service industry for over 30 years, we feel we have the hands on experience necessary to complete a project exceptionally. Having certification in electrical and plumbing is an added bonus.
