Gale is a great person to chat with, I totally enjoyed all my interactions with her thus far. She will be coming to my home next Thursday to clean and I can't wait to meet her. Unfortunately Gale is not the person who came to my home instead it was June/Junie, her sister. I cannot be more unhappy with the service that was done. I told her it would be an easy job as I needed just general cleaning for 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, limited cleaning for the living room and the kitchen as we are still moving in and there was too much stuff in the way for half of the apartment. She didn't even bring a broom or mop with her and there was no vacuum in site. She had this cheap feather duster that she used to "dust" everything however nothing was done to actually wipe things off, polish the wood, etc. After she left I discovered just how bad the job was. Nothing was wiped clean (knickknacks, etc.), the floors were not swept, mopped or vacuumed. The bathroom was not cleaned by any stretch of the imagination! The toilet was surface clean, but the shower looked like she did nothing. She didn't move the shampoo/body soap/conditioner etc. from around the tub to clean nor did she didn't wipe down the shower walls. The bathroom counter was mostly clean but the sinks obviously hadn't been actually cleaned, just rinsed. The mirror had streaks all over it and she didn't do anything to reach the top of the mirror. She didn't clean the floors and she missed wiping down the magazine stand in there! To top things off she even took my roll of paper towels with her when she left!! I've never been more dissatisfied with a service as I am with this one. I paid her $90.00 cash and if there was a way to get it back I most definitely would. Don't waste your money on this cleaning service (and I use the word *cleaning* very loosely) as cleaning is NOT what you'll get. Obviously I won't be using A&G again for anything. I simply don't trust them to actually do the work. Lesson learned I guess. :(

Deana, I have tried to reach out to you. I offered you a free cleaning. I heard back from you finally after a couple weeks. You stated you didn't want anything but your money back and then you would change your review. when June came to your place to clean. You instructed her on what and what not to clean. As most of your place was not accessible. After cleaning the bathroom and dusting what you would allow her to dust. She was going to go to the car to get her vacuum,mop and broom. You told her there was no need. As the floors were easy and your husband could do them. So,June offered to empty your dishwasher and clean your dishes. You also declined. June wasn't sure what to charge you since you didn't let her clean much of anything. so, she let you decide how much to pay. You paid 90.00 and she even said "are you sure". Your reply was yes. So when it comes to you saying she didn't have all of her necessary supplies that isn't true. You told her there was no need to get them from her car. Even so I tried to resolve this issue by offering a free cleaning. My goal is to make sure all of my customers are 100% satisfied. You declined the free service and said the only way you would change your review was if I refunded you.

A & G did a great job finishing and ultimately fixing my previous contractors work, which they did it in a timely matter and for a fair price. I definitely would recommend them and expect to use them again for some more rework.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most cases I do. Every now and then something comes up and I've adjusted up or down to meet the project expectations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to come out and meet you. Get a good understanding of your overall needs. What is most important to you. I will explain my process,discuss cost and have an agreement that both of us can sign. That way we both will be clear on exactly what needs to be done.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this,first by cleaning homes and businesses. I ended up meeting several real estate investors, who buy real estate to flip or rent. I began doing complete make ready type jobs for them. With this came minor plumbing,electrical,sheet rock repair,painting and carpentry type work.
