- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have standard pricing based on the service requested. Event Staffing- $30 per staffer per hour (travel, janitorial or sanitation fees may apply) Wedding Coordinator packages- typically start at $300 for Day of only Event/Party Planning packages- typically start at $200 Florist and Favors- vary too greatly based on client request
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The vast majority of CraftyMomDC customers come through referrals. Small orders are typically discussed via telephone conversations. All bridal orders require a face-to-face consultation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always coordinated weddings and special events for friends and family. A few years ago, in May, I did a rather involved Minnie Mouse birthday for my daughter. After that event I was commissioned to do two bridal showers for friends (within a month). By that August I had my first paid baby shower. The rest is CMDC history!
