Introduction: I am a fairly new dog sitter however I have lived with dogs since I was little. I first dog sat for a friend during a family emergency and found it extremely rewarding to be able to provide a bit of comfort not only to my friend but also her pup. He was not accustomed to his family being gone and was very stressed. By providing him company and talking to him I was able to calm him and get him to eat. We ate all our meals together :D
The best thing is being able to provide a level of comfort to both the pet and their owner!

Shay took the best care of my pup when I was away on a three week trip. Even though my dog has some slight separation anxiety, she did great in keeping him company and very happy! I left for my trip in full confidence that he was in safe hands.
