- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultations: up to 3hours $150.00 Hourly Rate: $70.00 Estimates can be given for large extended jobs. Bid can be given for Holiday Decorating jobs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to a first time Consultation I like to encourage my client to collect pictures of the type of style they loves. This can be done by collecting magazine photo's, creating a pintrest page or other social media avenues. I always require an initial consultation for a Job. This gives me a chance to see your space take pictures and measurements and go into detail about what the clients objectives are. We discuss likes and dislikes. It's a much needed time for the Client and I to get to know each other and build trust. Some jobs may only require or desire a small consultation to help with questions they have about their home but are wanting to do the leg work on their own. Other Jobs require this time to set up the projects specifications and end goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
LDS Business College: graduated in 2000 with a degree in Interior Design. It was amazing to work directly with Design professionals in our community to get hands on experience. Drexel Heritage/ Hamilton Park: 5years experience Designed and managed Showroom, creating a home like feeling for customers as they walked through the door. Completely redesigned parts of the showroom to display new collections coming from market twice a year. Created custom bedding sets, draperies, wall treatments, and purchased accessories. I was also in charge of decorating the showroom for the holidays. Accessorized countless parade of Homes. Paisley Poppy: 3 years Designer and sales associate for a boutique Furniture store. Have also worked as a free lance designer for many clients under my own company Details.
