Introduction: I fell in love with wedding photography as soon as I covered my first few events. Helping couples relive one of their most exciting days together photographically is an awesome feeling. I appreciate each and every couple who chooses and trusts me to capture their most precious moments. My goal is to tell the story of a couple's wedding day in the most genuine and artistic way possible. Art and photography are my passions, and I hope to meet many more amazing couples who want to make great work together.

When my husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding, it was definitely the longest process in the wedding planning only after finding our venue. We got married in March which does not really allow for the pretty picture ready backgrounds that most photographers are able to capitalize on. Therefore, our number one concern was finding someone who had a variety of indoor shots in their portfolio. We were both impressed with Craig’s photos from previous weddings and considering it was a romantically lit (dim) ballroom. We quickly knew that he was the one to go with. We worked with Craig discussing which photos we wanted for sure and then gave him free reign with the rest. We received our photos about 1 month later and are in love with them. Craig and his assistant Casey were great to work with. I had even asked him to Photoshop a couple of pictures for me and he did it and had it to me the next day. If you’re looking for a professional wedding photographer and wanting to stay within your budget, Craig is your guy!

Craig was great! His work is beautiful, he’s easy going, professional, and fun to work with! We didn’t feel intimidated by him and knew we were going to get great shots! He was quick to respond leading up to the big day with any questions or requests we had! We love that we have the rights to all of our photos on black and white and are able to print them at our leisure whenever and however we want. We would definitely recommend Craig! And his open air photo booth was so much fun!!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love to meet up with new clients over lunch or coffee to get to know them and understand the vision for their wedding day. The goal of my work is to produce images that reflect the personalities of each couple. I also provide timeline consultation for every wedding to help ensure that your wedding day is as seamless and stress-free as possible. Prior to the wedding, I check in to confirm timelines/details and assist with any questions before the big day. Once the wedding day arrives, all the fun happens.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choosing a photographer really comes down to 4 things. It's sort of like dating lol. 1. Outside of your fiancé/fiancée, your photographer will be the closest person to you on your wedding day. They will get to know your family/friends and take part in some of the most personal moments of your wedding. I would recommend choosing someone you like, with a personality that fits well within the environment that they'll be working. 2. Find someone who has adequate experience to cover each aspect of the wedding day in the most professional/artistic way possible. Techniques used for outdoor ceremonies are drastically different from indoor ceremonies. Techniques used for receptions are also drastically different from any other part of the day. I would recommend asking for a full wedding from your photographer's portfolio, so that you understand what quality of work to expect from them. Most photographers can produce a handful of amazing images from a wedding, but full day coverage will be important to see. 3. Whatever you decide, I highly recommend choosing a local photographer versus a large/nationwide company that outsources weddings to photographers locally. In most instances you can actually hire the same photographers directly. Going with a local photographer who you can meet beforehand, build trust with and develop familiarity with is an invaluable asset on your wedding day. Also, the attention to detail, commitment, and quality of an experienced local photographer is incomparable to a large operation that outsources the majority of their functions (including editing). 4. Find a photographer whose style you love. The beauty of the industry is that there are so many different photographers with different creative visions. Not every photographer will be the right match. My style won't resonate with everyone I meet, but if it does, I'd be happy to meet with you!
