Introduction: Everyday Dressage came from years of observation of horses and riders on a daily basis. It came from watching loving horse people trying desperately to connect with their equine partners but only being told how to teach tricks. It came from watching thousands of horses doing everything they could to understand their human partners, and having their questions and attempts to understand misinterpreted as lack of respect, evasion and resistance. It all comes down to communication. Figuring out what your horse is trying to tell you by his actions. Learning to speak his language instead of making him struggle to learn a few words of ours.

Everyday Dressage has changed my relationship with my horse in so many positive ways. I thought dressage was all about making your horse look fancy. I've learned that it's about helping you and your horse communicate. Without Shelley and Everyday Dressage I probably would have given up on my horse, maybe even on riding. Instead I look forward to every minute.

For years I thought I was riding correctly but I nevered progressed. Shelley is so patient and really explains in other terms the correct way to do things and why it works. I am so happy we found her. I think I am actually riding. And I am training my haflinger at the same time.
Couldn't be happier. I love riding with her. Can't wait til my next show

I'm a riding instructor in another style and have partnered with Shelley to add to my own education and deepen my bag of tricks for teaching and riding.
