- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike many others within the industry, I don't have a one size fits all approach to what I do. Every home is unique and what suits your neighbor might not suit you. I price each job according to what the property needs and what the owners budget allows. In fact, I utilize the Homewyse.com website to show you exactly what others are paying for the same services in your zip code to ensure you're getting a great price. I take pride in offering the technology that benefits you and your property, not what benefits my pocketbook.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I personally like to speak with customers by phone to assess their needs. From there, I set up an inspection to provide the most accurate quote possible. I don't charge any fees for the inspection and there's no obligation. I give every customer as much information as they would like so that they can make an informed decision. From there, I stick to the planned schedule and complete the job thoroughly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have over 15 years of construction / general contracting experience in residential and commercial energy efficiency. My BPI (Building Performance Institute) training complements my engineering degree.
