First and foremost, my experience with Ryan as my acting coach was an remarkable journey that I will never forget. I began working with Ryan my senior year of high school in preparation for my upcoming college auditions. We worked on three scripts and three monologues by breaking each of them down and understanding the purpose, which I duly noted for future reference. Now as for someone with very little experience with Shakespeare, I was doubtful and insecure about it from the jump. Nevertheless, in the course of a couple months Ryan had taught me to not only speak to the rhythm but to genuinely understand what every single line meant and it's purpose. I honestly don't believe there's anything else that could've been better than what I experienced. Ryan is hands down one of the best coaches I've had because he taught me how to unleash the most beautiful and grotesque parts of my work that I didn't even know existed! Overall, it was a challenging process but I loved & needed each and every part of it.
