- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some contractors hide profit in material which means they go buy material for $200 for example and then charge the customer $300 for the same material I do not feel that is right I bid a job separate on the labor and material and provide the customer a receipt for the material that is bought.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Provide them with references assure them that I know what I am doing and letting them know that at any time they can ask questions they are the one in charge although I am the contractor they are the boss I work for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been to too many training programs to count it really comes down to experience and giving the customer exactly what they want.
