Introduction: Hello! Thank you for visiting my storefront; you clearly have a discerning eye for robust service providers. You will not find a better DJ service provider for the price! My name is Andrew August and I am an audio/lighting engineer, event coordinator, recording engineer, musician, and creative of more than a decade. My services consistently reflect my combined experience in all of these fields and I specifically focus on ensuring well-executed productions on a technical level and managing the energy and flow of events through musical selections and emceeing. You can rest easy with your wedding and event planning with knowing that I supplement my thorough pre-planning with arriving several hours early to guarantee an absence of technical issues and prompt start times. I am a one-man show, so any and all contact you have with my business is guaranteed to be coming directly to me. This is work that I have spent years cultivating knowledge in and becoming educated in. Let me know what kind of vision you have for your big day and let's make it a reality together! FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from Ball State University's Music Media Production program whose curriculum encompasses live and studio sound, electronic maintenance and interfacing, lighting production, and various related classes. Additionally, I have spent several years volunteering at venues and festivals to gain experience in event production before I ventured into producing events myself (and now have done over 100 independently since).

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In mid-2012, I started a group for music producers to develop their work that led into founding my first music festival in Muncie, IN (where I went to college). After that first event, I became fascinated with every facet of event production and snowballed into many different events including trivia, stand-up comedy, art galleries, and (of course) bigger musical events. Throughout those projects, I not only acquired a vast sum of experience, but also the equipment to produce those projects on my own without any rental assistance. At the end of 2017, I decided to add weddings to the repertoire of experiences and never looked back.
