FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we meet in person. I ask you about your real estate needs, learn about your background. I keep my laptop with me during our meetings so I can show you comps in the area, available homes, neighborhoods, and other things that Zillow, Reltor.com, Trulia, and the like won't show you. After that, if you are looking to buy, then we hop in the car and tour the homes! If you're selling I consult with you, and you give me a tour of your home and highlight its features. Time is of the essence, I am very knowledgable and diligent so if you're ready , I'm ready!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Funny enough, I've always had a curiosity of real estate. I would genuinely enjoy going to open houses with my mom as a kid. I loved paying close attention to the details and unique features of the homes I would tour. When I got a little older, I attended FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where after graduation I worked as a retail buyer. Working in the fast paced world of corporate retail requires you to be a strong negotiator, thrive in fast paced environments, and juggle priorities! It was direct training for the real estate world I'm in now! Additionally, I worked in the commercial side of the business which was great! It taught me a lot, which applies to the residential side. So, my fashion career, along with my younger self, and commercial experience all helped me get here!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I finally stopped being curious from afar of the industry, and just went for it. I found a highly rated real estate school and completed my courses there, took a crash course, and passed my state exam on the first try... woohoo! I interviewed with a few brokerages, and ultimately found my home at First Team, and I truthfully couldn't be happier. My office set the record for the highest sale in Orange County this year. Guess how much? A: $24 Million! Must be nice to have all of that money just sitting around :)
