Carlson Enterprises Roofing and Construction - Jacksonville, FL
So, I held off in writing this review because I have tried to be understanding in regards to some production issues and related weather. But after getting the run around and not getting any responses back I needed to update. 1. Contracted Carlson for my roofing in April 2017. Worked through, got my roof reviewed and got insurance to pay in May. 2. And since May, I have had exactly ZERO done to my roof. Delay, after delay after delay. At first I was understanding because we did have two hurricanes come through in August. A full 3 months after I paid. So I understood that there was a production delay. Then October rolled around and I was told that I would be delayed 5 weeks. Then December rolled around and I was told that for sure by 10Jan18 I would be under production. 3. Today is 31Jan18 and I have heard nothing back yet, except that there is another delay. AND on top of that, I found out through the front office that there are some homes that have been waiting for almost 2 YEARS. 4. Based on this, I can not recommend them until they get their production back under control.Jan 31, 2018Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer Free Estimate & are Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractors. We don't have a set pricing system because each situation is unique to the homeowner. Be wary of contractors that promise you a price without stepping on the premises. Inspections are done and a free estimate is provided to ensure that the homeowner is given accurate and detailed knowledge regarding a roof replacement or remodeling project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We make sure our customers understand the process with our client care package and experienced Field Representatives.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure that you are asking about licenses and ensuring that your contractor is current in not only their contracting license, but also their business tax license. Ask about deductibles, and ask about time frames for getting the roof replaced. Depending on the season, weather circumstances and insurance company approval times, roof builds may occur anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months after you sign a contract. Ask for an estimate. A great company, like ours, will provide you with a free estimate, because they want to ensure they're helping you.
