Jon and Eddy showed up promptly at 9:00. They were polite, courteous, and did not hesitate to do anything I asked of them. The movers showed up an hour late. They did not know how to take my bed apart. They did not know how to take my son's bunk bed apart too. My husband had to help them with both beds. I hired door to door movers for my move on July 29th 2017 due to inclement weather the movers weren't able to come at the scheduled time so they tried to re schedule in which I could not as I had other appointments that day for carpet cleaning etc. when I first spoke to Maggie who I assume is the owner my first impression was that she had no customer service & was very rude . I was so frustrated I started to search for other moving companies at the last minutes but Maggie turned that experience around by calling us back and getting us squeezed in that day after the rain stopped . The movers came , they were professional & even assisted us by helping un mounting our tv off the wall , they got everything moved in 4 hours top and we even tip them for such a great job . With the long hours I been working I finally got around to moving & unpacking little by little fast forward to today , I notice my couch had a big gash /rip on it all of the way down to the metal so immediately I called door to door to fix & and explained that I just got around to unpacking & notice the damage to one of my couches immediately Maggie became defensive telling me I'm calling two weeks later & it's nothing she could do & not to mention she was very rude about it , she claims I didn't call her in 24 hours after The move which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard who unpacks a house full of boxes in 1day. I will never ever use their company again & I will not recommend them to anyone & the fact that owner is so rude & uncooperative says a lot about this company . I am going to blast them on every site there is I will also be contacting the BBB,CFPB , consumer affairs & rip off report to let them know the kind of unfair practices that's been going on with this company as a consumer you work hard for your things & I do understand things can happen but you should also listen to the customer & try to help them fix the issue not cut them off & be rude about a 24 hour policy that's not listed anywhere on your website . Please do not utilize these people . I have also provided photos . ****************************************** In regards to Maggie's reply ::: you were most certainly the one I spoke too on 8/20 and yes you very rude as you were the first day I spoke to you on 6/29 .. I agree that you squeeze me in but the fact still remains that my couch is damaged .. I did not sit on my couches as they were folded down in the same position the movers left them , obviously you don't know that it takes time to unpack boxes if you're coming from a large home to an apartment but that's neither here or there . When I called you on Sunday , had you just been more accommodating then this would have went a different route but you decided to be rude , cut me off ,& jump to conclusions by telling me it's nothing you can do before I finish my sentence but that's my fault since I had the same experience from. You on 6/29 I shouldn't have utilized your services . I am not going to go back and forth with you because I made my point by letting people know what kind of business you run and I said I said before if you wanted to call suing you for damages that are clearly there threatening you then so be it , I've already contacted every consumer agency available to me against you so why you don't you be truthful when letting the world know what kind of buisness you are running and possible treat your customers with respect .Aug 21, 2017VerifiedMaggie C.'s reply
Miss Monique, Again, im very sorry for the inconvenience in our service, if I was convinced that we did the damage, we would definitely cover the damage and help satisfy you in regards to that issue. I am never the one that likes to have bad experiences with my customers in regards to rude temperments, but it still saddens me to hear your threats publicly on here by stating that we provided a bad service when you stated in your first review that our employees actually did a very good job moving you. I also would like to inform you that I have 20 years of experience on my bussiness with a lot of satisfied customers on my behave. I would like to apologize one more time for the inconvenience.
