Introduction: I've been training and boarding dogs in Palm Beach County for over 20 years. I teach appropriate behavior in leash walking, home behavior, basic obedience and behavior modification. I am highly skilled and known for my work with dog-aggression . I have been able to work with very aggressive dogs and help hem become less aggressive and more well balanced . I also work with perimeter training, socialization and have trained many dogs to be certified as Therapy Dogs. The most gratifying part of my work is creating calmness and ease where once there was chaos. I work with both the person and dog to strengthen their bond and give the owner the right tools for their unique situation. Being a dog lover, there is no greater feeling than bringing dogs and their humans together in a more satisfying and safe relationship for both of them

I contacted Bob for help with my two dogs because one of them had gotten very aggressive with other dogs and the other dog was constantly barking at people and dogs, all the time! Bob talked to me by phone before the appointment about the dogs and quickly scheduled a time to come to my home. He spent a lot of time with me my first training session, asking questions, observing me with my dogs in/out of the house, and then gave suggestions about how to change their routine, establish a leader role, and how to deal with aggressive behavior. Bob's experience, ease with the dogs, and helpful hints changed both of my dog's behavior in the first session! Bob asked that I continue to follow his suggestions during the week and he would check in with me to see how we were progressing. I liked that he was encouraging, knowledgeable, and willing to follow up by phone before the next training session. I felt comfortable calling him and asking for help that week, when I wasn't able to deal with an aggressive dog situation. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone having difficultly with their dogs. He is a natural with animals and has a lot of practical experience to share. I wished I had worked with him earlier and will continue to meet with him weekly for individual training with the dogs and then advance to a group training class he runs on the weekends. Bob is amazing !!! Our 2 year old Doberman has been showing aggression towards other dogs for about a year . We worked with another trainer before Bob but his approach wasn't anything we were comfortable with and it wasn't working so we stopped using him and hired Bob . After he came over and evaluated our situation he gave us some changes in the way we were living with him and explained why . He showed us how to control him and how to introduce him to other dogs . I can't believe how easily he makes this happen and how our dog reacts to him . He calls us in between lessons to see how we're doing . We're seeing major changes !Our dog doesn't seem to be so nervous anymore and seems much calmer and happier . Bob has a natural way with dogs . I sent him to my brother who has 3 out of control mixed breed large rescue dogs . I couldn't believe the difference after one lesson with Bob . Thanks Bob !! Finally happy dogs !!!

Bob was fantastic! He arrived on time and has a great personality. Me and my dog both felt completely comfortable with him. I've trained all of my dogs but felt like I needed an outside eye to see where me and Cal were not communicating well. His advice was perfect. I never would have thought about the few changes he made in our home environment that just worked to keep my young male dog on the right path. I listened to his advice and also changed my collar in order to make my dog more aware of me. We have been practicing a lot and Cal loves his leash walks now. As do I! I can't recommend him enough. In just a couple of hours we are on to a great place. I plan to have 5 more lessons with Bob so we can solidify the progress we made. Thank you Bob!!!!!!

We have worked with Bob over several years. Bob trained our 2 English mastiffs and now our small schnauzer Lou. I lost enjoying our walks because of Lou’s aggression toward other dogs. I knew I needed Bob to help return my walks with Lou-to enjoyable. Within a week (keeping to Bobs instructions) Lou and I are back to enjoyable walks. We have a 6 month old Golden Retriever that Bob has been helping us train for a month. Bob has been unbelievable with points of training. We highly recommend him. You will not be sorry. He takes the time and truly cares! So refreshing in today's world!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $ 95 a Training lesson. Each lesson lasts about an hour. I also board dogs at my home for $ 45 a night .
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we talk on the phone . I find out about the dog the people and environment. We discuss any issues they might be having and their goals for training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve worked with Federal Guard Dogs in West Palm Beach, Mans Best Friends in Boca , Canine Counselors in West Palm and Canine College in Juno Beach . In 2017 I had a radio program “South Florida Dog Talk “ on IHeart radio . I’ve left some of the shows on line at Southfloridadogtalk.com
