David Stone has been involved with the arts whether it be acting, singing or playing music since he was 5 years old. He is versatile, and comfortable in all genres from classic show tunes to modern day alternative folk/rock. He has appeared in many productions and was featured in lead roles as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He also performed with Central High School Choral Aires in Europe and throughout Michigan. He is an accomplished percussionist, plays keyboards, bass and guitar in contemporary bands and has excellent stage presence. He has performed many times for The Traverse City Film Festival, StonesHouse fundraisers, and countless private functions.
David also works well with young adolescents and is an excellent teacher. He demonstrated this ability even when he played basketball in high school and was a role model for younger players while they attended sports camps. He demonstrates the same patience and encouragement with younger, aspiring music students.
His many original compositions are truly melodic and reflect the sensitivity and deep emotion that touches the soul of his audience.
