It is my hope that the average Kansas City resident is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Ariel tutored me twice a week during my Spanish 211 class at UMKC. It was a 5 week summer class and very intense, but I ended up receiving an A! I really don't think I would have been able to do that without Ariel's help. She is perfectly fluent in both Spanish and English and understands the difficulty of learning another language which makes her extremely patient and thorough when studying together. Ariel is also very organized! She requests your class syllabus so she knows exactly what you are doing step by step. I think she knew my syllabus better than I did :) I also had a chance to speak out loud and have conversations in Spanish with her which is something that I didn't get much exposure to in class. I would recommend Ariel to anyone as I think she adjusts to all learning styles very well! Thanks, Ariel :)

Ariel taught me AP Spanish IV. She is an incredible teacher, and took time to make sure everyone in the class understood the topics we covered. She challenged us to do difficult tasks, honing our reading and comprehension skills and we DEFINITELY grew as a result. When test time rolled around, I scored a 4 on the AP exam--much higher than I though I would considering my previous experience with the language. She is the reason I am continuing my study of Spanish in college. 10/10.

Ariel met with my two daughters for Spanish lessons twice a week. She always had very creative lessons for them and made each session age appropriate and meaningful. Both girls looked forward to each Spanish session and enjoyed working on their assigned homework between meeting times. I was very pleased with her ability to work with both of my girls on their level (one had previous experience and the other had none). My husband and I enjoyed listening in and learning along. This was a fantastic experience and we will definitely look to Ariel for further lessons.

Ariel was the most amazing Spanish teacher I have ever had and I majored in Spanish in college! She works with your schedule and has many resource to help you with your conversation skills and to sound more native like. She was easy to talk to and her vast knowledge of the language will help you improve your Spanish no matter what level you are at. I would highly recommend working with her.
