Mike was a Christmas Miracle! I was in need of a new living room floor a few weeks before Christmas. I contacted Mike through thumbtack and he was at my house the next day with a plan. He and his guys returned 3 days later, early Friday morning, to tear out my damaged carpet, install new hardwoods, sanded the adjoining kitchen and hall wood floor, and stained new and existing hardwoods. They worked until nearly midnight the first night and continued to work hard all weekend until we returned home Sunday night. The floors were exactly what I asked for and the new hardwood floor flows into the existing hardwood. Two months later I can comfortably say that Mike and his crew are honest and amazing! I also had Mike repair some walls and his guy did a great job! We can’t wait to hire Mike for our new project.

Mike and his crew were wonderful. They installed smoke detectors for us at no charge because Mike happened to know that the local fire department would have done it for free. While I imagine many other companies would have taken advantage of our ignorance, Rescue 1 did not. We will be hiring them again, and you should, too!

Rescue 1 Construction's Mike Kemp did an outstanding job. I simply needed a new water softener installed as my 20-year old softener "died." He stopped by the house within hours of contact (on a weekend, no less) to see what needed to be done. He took measurements, familiarized himself with the new softener, we agreed on a price I thought was fair, and the work was done next day. He completed & cleaned up following the installation and forwarded photos as I was unable to be at my home at the end of the installation. Rescue 1 mounted my 60 inch tv. Called in the morning and had it installed that day. Guys were friendly and left everything clean. TV looks great! Looking forward to my next project with them.

They installed a bathroom fan/light and fixed some double tapped breakers. Got it done pretty quickly, about 2 hours and they charged me $250 for it which is just above the national average according to homeadvisor.com. Originally I wanted the fan and light on separate switches. I was thankful for Mike's opinion on the matter, he was upfront with me that having separate switches may end up being much more costly and he recommended I get a quiter fan and keep it on a single switch that way I wouldn't even hear the fan when the light was on. Honestly, wish I could have done the work myself to save me the $250 but I'm glad I can rest assured that everything was done right and I don't have to worry about my house catching on fire in the middle of the night!
