FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to quickly-yet-effectively dissect who you are, first and foremost. Why? Well, your resume and personal image are just that: personal. It's all about you, not what you've done, per se. Everyone has read or heard a million times that an employer looks at a resume briefly, and my goal is to engage them immediately so that they are intrigued and wanting so much more than to just read something about you on a page. Don't you want to meet them so they can know you, see how invested and passionate you are about your career or the opportunity they're offering? My job is to figure you out and strategically decide how to transform your person onto a single page, one that will have the employer asking you to meet with them in-person. Boom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not only do I possess experience as a successful executive recruiter, but I've spent years upon years in multi-functional roles from professional sports to software companies, working best in highly creative positions where I can utilize my mind and vision appropriately. Honestly, I don't stay put doing one thing for more than a year because I need to be constantly changing what I'm doing -- that is how I landed on being on my own boss and striking out on my own version of the American Dream: changing lives, one resume at a time! Every person I meet is so unlike the last, that it's an empowering and fulfilling position to be in. A resume is a sheet of paper, but the person reflected is everything.
