Great instructor! She is very good at what she does. Starting something new like dance can be a bit scary but Laurelyn is very patient and kind, and makes the experience fun. She's also pretty good at figuring out how to help you learn steps you might struggles more than other steps.

She's been helping my fiancé and I learn a choreographed dance for our wedding and it has been an amazing experience! Our dance looks like it came out of a fairy tale and she has been a great teacher. Patient, very knowledgeable, and able to explain things to help you understand. My fiancé has never danced before but she has him waltzing like a prince! Also great on pricing, she wants to make ballroom dancing available to a wider range of people. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I personalize all my services to you as a student. All lesson plans are tailored to you. Unlike large chain studios, you don't buy a large expensive package just to take a pre-set lesson plan that may or may not work for you. I am there for YOU and my job is to personalize everything we do just for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied ballroom dance for over 10 years and have been teaching for nearly as long. My coaching has taken place under many different instructors and teachers, giving me a well-rounded ballroom education.
