Leah Barnett Cello and Voice Studio

Introduction: Hello! I specialize in teaching beginning to intermediate cello, and beginning to advanced high school voice. I hold a bachelor's degree in both voice and cello from Drake University, and a Master of Music in vocal performance from UMKC. I love building a solid technique from the ground up in young musicians! For young cellists, that means a balanced bowhold, good posture, and a free tone. For singers, that means good posture and developing a free, clear tone. For both, it means developing a disciplined approach to daily practice. None of these things come overnight, but are a result of consistent commitment to instruction over time.
