- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Copy Editing $0.02 per word Copy editing services include grammar, spelling, capitalization, verb tense, punctuation, sentence structure, clarity, and a style sheet. Jobs accepted in entirety and on a chapter by chapter basis. I offer completion of the first few pages as a sample of my work, sending it for client review before any payment is made. After client has approved the sample, a deposit of 50% is required via PayPal, with the remaining payment due in full at completion. I typically use the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS). - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer the first few pages of a project as a sample of my work, sending it for client review before any payment is made. After being hired, I require a 50% deposit via PayPal with the remaining balance paid in full upon client’s electronic approval of content. Documents will be sent in Word and PDF. Estimated time to complete is typically 7-10 days from deposit receipt.
