I was in the market to find a new and highly reliable individual to prepare my 2016 Federal tax returns. After interviewing several potential candidates provided me through Thumbtack I decided to engage Jonathan Wyman, a CPA, PLLC . Obviously tax preparation is by itslef a daunting and emotional experience and so one hopes for the best! From the outset, Jonathan was absolutely terriffic. After our initial interview he kept me informed at every step of the process, since I am a hands on person I like to know what is going on and why. As such Jonathan kept me in the loop so that at each step in proces from organizing my materials through checking the final product Jonathan kept me informed as to not only what we were doing but why. Ultimately after receiving all of the raw materials Jonathan asked a number of questions which I answered and in turn received the completed forms for my review. After asking a few questions the taxes were completed as promised on time and with my input. I feel absolutely confidant that I made the right choice and I look forward to a pleasant business relationship with Jonathan in the future. He is the best!

Jonathan has proven to be a true professional. From start to finish, he was responsive, informative, consultative, and courteous. In preparing my individual tax return, Jonathan provided guidance and constant updates for a tax return that was more complex than in years past. The white glove treatment provided was not necessary, but consistently delivered and certainly appreciated as a customer. The time to completion was very reasonable, especially with the frequent setting of expectations and updates. I'm not looking forward to the next tax season, but I'm confident Jonathan will make it more palatable.

I had a free consultation with Jonathan and it was an extremely efficient and reassuring process! I owed money on a 2016 tax return that I thought I had paid off but later found out had been sent to collections. He helped me quickly establish the root cause of the issue and recommended what day of the week and time to call the IRS in order to get in touch with their customer service (avoiding the lengthiest wait times!). Really appreciated the ease of setting up the appointment and his ability to quickly comprehend the issue and reaffirm the right course of action for me.
