- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before taking on a new customer I generally need to know of any medical conditions that might interfere with my clients health. Such as any type of accident whether it may be vehicular or work related, surgeries, current medications taken, and lifestyle. If you're a client that needs a prenatal massage you must be at least 12 weeks pregnant or must show a letter from your doctor stating that you're not a high risk pregnancy and able to receive massage. If you're seeking a labor inducing massage you must be 40 weeks or more to receive one.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied massage therapy in my home country and practiced for over 12 years. In the United States I studied at The School of Massage and earned my certification in 2012, and have been practicing in Houston ever since. To keep up with new massage trends I also take continuing education classes. My training includes: Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Sports Massage, Maternity Massage (Induction Labor and Post Natal Massage), Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Thai Massage, Shiatsu Massage.
