FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set a time to meet with them so we can go over in detail what the customer s vision is , and then depending on if it's custom or a normal finish I make up a proposal ! Then if the customer likes my proposal and agrees to it then they sign and I receive a deposit on the job , after the jobs complete and the customer is satisfied with the job I receive the balance
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With concrete it's mostly hands on training, when I started in the concrete world I worked for a guy that was never there and so I had to train myself, unfortunately there was a lot of trail and error in the beginning, I had to research and try this way and that way on how to do it right, so when I got my own business I was always on the job and made sure I trained my employees right .
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing concrete when I was 17 and I've always been very artistic and love creating art out of a blank canvas, I've been doing church's and schools in my 20s and in my late 20s and 30s I started doing colored and stamped concrete and exposed rock and many other cool finishes.
