Introduction: I am a furniture and woodwork repair and refinisher. My experience ranges from professional custom cabinet refinishing (not replacing), and repair. I love natural wood and antiques i prefer to professionally take back to original condition ( no matter how many times they were white washed over the years). I also am a furniture artist, updating and turning pieces that were not so impressive or even noticable into conversational centerpieces of your home ( the table on my profile was an old craft table a customer bought for ten dollars....and now she has a one of a kind artisian set. For landlords and older home owners.....would you like your homes woodwork ( cabinets, staircase rails and trim work ) to be a showstopper difference without taking out a home loan for brand new woodwork? I pride myself on being able to make miracles happen at affordable rates and by sealing and top coating the new finish will last for the life of your woodwork. I do not believe in short cuts, but I love the pride I get from perfection and saving you a ton of money.

A few weeks ago, I was in a bind- I had a deadline to refinish an antique desk and chest of drawers that had been in my family for years. The pieces were in fair shape and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get them finished properly. After receiving two sky high quotes that would take weeks to complete, I was about to give up. Until, I received Sheresa Butka's call. She seemed to care more about the pieces than I did. She specializes in antique and vintage wood and promised to either restore them to their original character or add any modern and artistic flare that I desired. I chose to have them both restored and refinished dark cherry. Not only did Mrs. Butka finish them quickly, but the quality of her work was high while her rate of service was more than fair and competitive to the "big guys". And, she even worked on the pieces in my own work space so I could follow the progress and even offer my input. I was more than satisfied. There is something to be said for artisan craft work. Thank you Sheresa! My sleigh bed is next!!
