Quinn and Marcos were definitely on time and professional! We were surprised how quickly they completed the job. They took apart our furniture and reassembled it on site. They gave us the red carpet treatment (lol), they actually rolled out a red carpet to protect our carpet at the old and the new place as they moved our furniture in and out. Jose and Eddie were amazingly professional, and hard working. I had a lot of stuff to move from Janesville to Chicago. They loaded me up in no time flat, and creatively fit most of my stuff into a storage unit that really wasn't big enough. I would not have been able to do it all without them. Long distance moving is a bit expensive, but completely worth not having to deal with it all. I have this mammoth of a sectional couch and I was concerned that just the two of them wouldn't be able to get it out of there. They did! My one suggestion would be that the couch dismantles, I don't know how but I know it does. They made more work for themselves by not taking it apart.Jan 20, 2018VerifiedQuinn S.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?It's a starting point based off of 50 miles distance. Please call us so we can properly calculate the costs. Our website has money saving offers and shows examples of the work we perform.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I have the Thumbtack app on my phone so a fast response by me is what you can expect. We'll follow that up with a email or phone call to discuss the details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 19 plus years of moving experience that started back on 11/09/1998. I started off as a mover (some will say started off at the bottom) and worked my way up the ladder up to the position of General Manager over seeing three office locations with 50 to 60 employees. That experience has helped he start my own small business and brand 3.5 years ago (August 2014). IV'E LEARNED WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN'T WORK when you hire About Time Moving Systems LLC. Being a small business owner has and will continue to teach us new lessons which we embrace. I know a lot about moving and taking care of the customer (I better!), but I also recognize when I have something new to learn. For example when I go out on jobs with the guys, they teach me things, which is EXCITING. If they need help or further training we provide that as well. We have experienced professional packers, movers and drivers who are highly skilled at their positions who put you and your needs FIRST on moving day.
