FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of photos requested, my pricing systems vary. Things that heavily weight on my prices changes would be if I am required to travel to a client, if I also am doing their makeup, and if we are doing multiple looks. My standard rates are by the hour, give or take the fees that come along with traveling to the client and printing photos. Typically: Shooting 1-2 looks - $150 Shooting 2-3 looks - $200 Shooting 3-4 looks - $350 Makeup (optional) - $40 Travel Fee (depending on where you live) - $20
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to get a good idea as to who I'm working with, how the photos are imagined to a client so we can create the image together before we start shooting, and what the client feels his/her insecurities may be in front of the camera.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been self-taught from the age of 12, and that has been ten years. I've taken technical photography courses at the University of Washington as well. I also work as a freelance model/photographer, so it helps me gain a better insight on how an image can turn out based on all those factors.
