Introduction: I have studied extensively in corrective and high performance exercise. When you can educate the body to function bio mechanically how it was designed it can reach a whole new level of performance. I enjoy helping people reach their health and fitness goals. It's very satisfying when you were able to take part in someone becoming pain free and returning to a high level of fitness.

I am a long time client of John Swain. I first started seeing him because of lower back issues after having my second child. He not only helped me end my lower back pain with corrective exercise and manual therapy but also instilled in me a love of weight training and fitness. Over the years he has continued to educate himself in cutting edge corrective exercise including myofascial stretching, posture work and functional movement. He has a deep knowledge of the body's asymmetries which makes him extraordinarily effective in diagnosing and solving sports and every-day injuries. Started out going to John due to several serious ankle injuries. After a very detailed re-hab program, (in office) and at home exercises my ankle felt great. I have not had a problem since. Johns approach to injury is very comprehensive and I have and continue to recommend his services and knowledge. I still see John mainly as an extremely knowledgeable exercise trainer/consultant, and for his knowledge in nutrition and wellness. His positive feedback with the right amount of push to better you overall wellbeing is an approach you will not get anywhere else.

John has worked with me for several years, curing a torn rotator cup and several other aches and pains plus keeping me in good physical shape overall. I find him be very interested and caring of my personal well being. He is more of a friend than a trainer. I rely on his opinions for my physical well being.
