Alex, I take pride in my company and service that I provide to my clients. I wish to meet exceed every clients expectations and would like to provide feedback on your review. When we first spoke I explained that I would try to get to your property during the week. It was understood that a lot of rain was in the forecast and this will push the schedule back for all clients. Weeks like that I will put in 14 hours days with my crew to ensure I get to every yard.  An estimate was provided that night (4/24) that clearly showing the mowing service charge ($38) and an additional one-time charge for long grass ($35). This is common for lawn mowing service companies to charge extra for grass over 14" as this doubles the time to mow and is hard on the equipment.  I explained the charge for the long grass on the call and explained that even with the bi-weekly service that I would need to mow weekly during the growth season in order to have the grass grow to healthy length. When grass gets too long root growth slows, causing the grass to weaken. A lawn full of weak grass is more susceptible to disease, pests and weeds. Regular mowing to keep the grass between 2 and 3 inches during the growing season keeps the lawn vigorous and better able to resist damage.  Due to the rain I was not able to get to your property until May 1st. Mowing wet grass is very hard on the equipment and professional equipment can leaves ruts in wet soil. The grass length was estimated over 2FT the first time I mowed on the first and I returned that week on (5/5) to maintain the proper length. I charged the credit card on file for these jobs on 5/8 and 5/9 for the estimate provided on (4/24) and the following mowing service ($38).
