FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fees vary depending on the environment I am working in- I have to pay overhead in a gym so usually these sessions are more for that reason. Working out in a public place, at a park, field etc. tends to be less expensive due to cheaper overhead costs. My standard rate is $55/hour but I offer discounts for session package purchases, monthly commitments etc. (as low as $25/session). I do add in $5-10 for longer distance travel per session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy a face to face meeting before starting with my clients as I think it is important to understand the person I am working with rather than just meet their body and put it through a work out. I think most people are in touch with what they want help working on, and I like to hear this first hand, ask questions and develop a strategy to help clients feel their best. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it and I will be with you EVERY step of the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being my own "therapy case," allowed me to work through many struggles on my own and come out a stronger, more resilient and positive person. I had some professional help, but most of the struggles, life transformations and transitions I have undergone, I have had to hold my own hand. The understanding I have for others going through waves of change is what drives me to stay educated in related fields. I am undergoing my official life coach training as well as health and wellness continuing education. I did my undergrad in Exercise science with an emphasis in Human Performance and Sport and Nutrition. I am certified through the NSCA as a personal training and strength and conditioning coach. I have been active my entire life. I have dealt with weight gain and loss, performance issues, over training syndrome, and just trying to train to be a healthy average joe. I have been coaching soccer for the last 7 years and bring much of what I have learned from coaching into my training philosophies.
