Introduction: Taking music lessons with Ben is a smart and effective way for you to learn music at any skill level. I have been playing piano and singing professionally for over 12 years, most notably at Pat O’Briens in New Orleans, and I love teaching students from as young as 4 to the older beginner. Any style, at your pace. I am originally from Lafayette and studied music performance at Tulane University.
The most gratifying part of teaching music is finding the "hook point" at which my students really start to get excited about music and can really see their results.

Mr. McGehee is the kind of piano teacher I had hoped to get! He was on time arriving to my home.
He was very knowledgeable about his craft, professional, courteous, PATIENT, and made learning to play the piano fun and easy. Today was just my first lesson, and already I've learned so' much. I'm really excited and more confident now that I can one day master the piano. I can't wait for my next lesson!
