FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually do at least $5 per window, but right now I'm really just looking to expand my customer base so I'm giving out very lenient prices. Unfortunately that means I have to do the work by myself potentially, but I can definitely guarantee it'll be done to satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll explain how I plan to approach the job depending on the situation when I get there. I may use my deionized water system to clean the outside or I might do it the old fashioned way, up on a ladder with a bucket and squeegee. Either way comes out perfect it's just a matter of whats most efficient. I'll explain that the first thing we have to do is take the screens out so we can wash them and obviously they need to be removed in order to get to the surface of the glass. Once the outside's done we come in and take our shoes off and do the inside windows using a squeegee and a little soap. And "yes" we get the tracks of the windows. Then when the inside's done we put the screens back in and thats it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and I worked for a major corporation for several years so I think I can communicate relatively well. Other than that all I can say is I've been cleaning windows since I was 16 years old and I'm 32 now, so I don't think there should be a problem handling really any residential job in orange county.
