- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start by offering a discounted sample lesson where we will get to know each other (either in person or virtually) and discuss the student's goals/what style of singing they are interested in. If they are comfortable, I will take them through a few vocal exercises to become familiar with their voice, range, and make a plan for their lessons moving forward!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hayley holds an MM as well as BM degree in Vocal Performance. Hayley is also a certified yoga teacher with the American Viniyoga Institute and incorporates body-awareness, breath practice, and general wellness into her work as a private voice teacher.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have taught students from age 5 to 50! I have worked with complete beginners as well as those studying to receive an undergraduate degree. I typically recommend waiting until age 9 to study voice but have taught piano to younger students as well.
