FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different so I must know more in order to fairly and accurately submit a proposal. I am committed to making sure my clients receive value for their investment. I have an hourly fee and I can also provide a fixed fee. My business is like a retail store, but without a storefront. When sourcing furniture and materials, I provide best pricing to clients where I am able. I always go the extra mile for my clients... it’s just how I’m wired!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an introductory phone call, a potential client and I will get to know each other during our first in-person consultation. This is an action-packed, working consultation and there is a fee. Here, we will review what the client wants and needs, as well as answer any questions or address concerns. If we are a good fit, the consultation will be followed up with a proposal for the project. Once the proposal is accepted, we get to work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I owned my home staging company (2005-2017) in Ventura County, CA... years before the tv shows and anyone really knew what the word meant! While I still provide staging DIY consultations, my focus is on interior design and home, kitchen & bath remodels. I have passed the California Certified Interior Designer exam, earning the prestigious credential 'Certified Interior Designer (C.I.D.). In 2015, I was a featured interior designer on the TV show, Design Santa Barbara.
