FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical photo session is one hour and costs $250, a typical mini session is half an hour and costs $125. Not all sessions fit within these parameters but this is a good idea of what I am offering.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After exchanging information, I like to get in touch by phone but email is also effective as I get back to the customer as soon as I can when using this method. I like to find out what the customer has in mind for their session. If they do not know where they would like their photo session location to be, I will offer them a variety of options that fit within their vision of the photo session. We talk about the date and time that would work best for them and I offer advice on clothing if needed. I use Paypal as my invoice method which the customer will receive in a timely manner. The due date is always indicated on the invoice as well as the session information and any additional notes pertinent to the payment process. I like to send a reminder of the photo session, especially if it was booked long beforehand. It is always fun meeting each customer and/or their family on the big day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a full time art student at the Academy of Art University, working towards my Master of Arts degree in Photography.
