- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process can always be flexible based on the client and project needs. Time and budget can many times be a factor. Ideally, we'll first start with defining the project and producing a brief. What is it that we're trying to create, for what purpose and what are the desired outcomes or goals with this project. Then we will get to know each other through a client on-boarding and interview process. Also known as a stakeholder interview. Afterwards, we can look to define the project and its requirements with more detail. What is the USP of this company, offering or the project itself? What are the customer or user requirements? Who are the competitors? Then we generate a creative or project brief which can establish an agreement for direction. We'll go into prototyping or concepting with reviews throughout to make sure we're on the right track. Getting buy-in from stakeholders and customers, and approval from you as the client. Once we have a final, approved product, we'll take into production. Whether it's going live with the site, printing the logo, building the exhibit or otherwise.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Environmental Design (CU Boulder) - which applies well for signage, tradeshow exhibits and even packaging. Over 16 years of on-the-job training in an agency role. Over 10 years in a creative lead role. Formal business coaching training (the Newfield Network) - which applies perfectly to defining projects, expectations and developing the best client-vendor relationship possible.
