FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
See photos for pricing and discount information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
CONSULTATION: This stage is for getting to know my client. I take time to understand their business/vision. During the consultation I will let you know the exact pricing and time frame for the project. RESEARCH: Gathering neccassary information to ensure accuracy and knowledge of the subject. MOODBOARD: Choosing color palettes, typography, images/icons that convey the client's idea. This is a critical part of the process because it helps myself and the client visually map out the "mood" for the project. We can prioritize certain design aspects and rule out others. ROUGH DRAFT SKETCHES: I will sketch rough 3-10 ideas based off our moodboard. Our consultation will determine how many different ideas are allowed to have designed. (The more ideas you want to see, the more money and time it will take. The less ideas you want to see the less time and money it will take.) Less ideas is better because too many options and you may feel overwhelmed and have trouble choosing a direction for your project. DRAFT: This step is when the client will choose final direction for the project to go in. This will determine colors, type, images, length, etc. REVISIONS: Revisions is the longest step of the process. I will design, and you will critique. Every time you send a design back for revisions, it will cost. Again, our consultation will determine how many changes you are allowed. You may exceed our original quote, but it will be extra. I am always sure to take the clients ideas into consideration, it is also important for the client to understand they need to take my advice into consideration as well. So things that you may want, may not be the best way to do it (from a design perspective). Remember that you hired me, so let me do my job! FINALIZATION: After several revisions, proof reading, and client approval the final work will be agreed upon and payment will be made. I will be sure to send over multiple verisions (jpgs, pdfs, etc). You will also receive the copyright and license for your project. If you would like changes after I have handed the work over to you, I would be happy to do so. Grammatical changes are free, but design changes will cost. Leaving a review would be awesome for me to learn and perfect my process!
