FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a few price options for different services rendered. I also regularly run promotions with special discount prices. In the past I have adjusted my fee to accommodate special circumstances. I tend to try and not allow money to interfere with the therapy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with the intake. Nine out of ten new clients will display some level of anxiety. My initial goal is to put clients at ease as soon as possible. I spend as much time as needed with the intake process, actively listening to my client as they answer very specific questions, designed to give me a thorough understanding of their needs. I then communicate a synopsis of my treatment plan and make them as comfortable as possible on the table. I constantly encourage feedback. I believe it is a crucial component for session customization. Personally, I feel actively listening to all feedback, verbally and physically, is what elevates my therapeutic skills.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with academic honors from Cortiva Institute, obtaining certifications in Myofascial Release, Swedish and Neuromuscular Therapy. I usually incorporate all three within my sessions. I have completed a wide range of continuing education. I also hold an internationally accredited Nutritional Therapist certification from the Academy of Health Sciences, and a Health Coach certification from the United States Health Foundation. I am also currently studing for a Personal Trainer certification (NCCPT).
