Marnie patiently listened to me and gave her most unbiased opinion about my situation. Which to is the most helpful tool for me in this road to recovery. She gave me a warm hug right away when she first saw me and an even warmer (if that is even possible) before I left. She’s genuine and ready to help and listen. Will be seeing her again.

Haven't had my session with Marnie yet, but that will be today and so far, her responses to me have been wonderful and soothing to my soul. I am looking forward to learning a lot from her.

About this pro

I AM A KNOWN MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP ADVICE EXPERT AND STRATEGIST. I am a graduate of the renowned Columbia University School of Social Work where I also supervised graduate students. I'm also a known writer and advice columnist. Unlike many of my peers, I don't do "psychobabble" or "diagnoses." I work with each client with skill and creatively to help them get where THEY wish to go without judgment. I believe in offering strategies my clients can use right away to address issues and move past them to solutions. I have worked with people all over the world, including the creatives:) and those who demand a high degree of confidentiality. By all means read my reviews here, and Google me. As a writer, I've been both an Emmy and Writers Guild award nominee. My primary work is non-fiction, however I have also written fiction and worked as both a script and book "doctor." My clients tend to have high-end needs, e.g. book projects, scripts, or those who need to learn how to write quickly and effectively. I work extensively with actors, producers, editors, directors, as well as those not in media with complex projects. I also have material ready for TV, screen, and books for those who are seeking a project. It's not a "job" or even a "career" for me. It's in part who I am. And I've been doing it virtually since "birth:). What I do is both "skill" and "art" as most pros, in my view don't know as much as they think know and play it by "the book." Seeing each of my clients as separate human beings with different needs and issues to be addressed is critical to me and deeply rewarding. Writing, as in working with people to solve problems is in part who I am as much as what I do. From the prep to research to creation to edit ... each part fascinates. I do work across media and themes: From TV to advice columns to articles, non-fiction relationship, humor, Jewish humor, celebrity interviews, quizzes online and in hard copy.
