Emily has provided pictures for my family many times, and I will use her any chance I get. Her pictures are well thought out, have great balance, and beautiful lighting. She is easy to work with and doesn't wear yoga pants to your wedding (I've seen it folks). I really love this girl! I'm almost hoping, very selfishly, that she doesn't get too busy forcing her prices to go up. Get her while you can folks.

I've gone to Emily for everything from graduation announcements to newborn photos, and I've never been disappointed! She's very professional, friendly, and creative. Her photos always come out amazing, and she delivers them really fast. I definitely recommend her for any photo shoot you need!

Emily took our engagement and wedding pictures for extremely cheap when she was first starting to do engagements and weddings. But the result wasn't cheap or bad in any way. We both love the pictures from both events. She caught moments that we are both glad she didn't miss, especially at the wedding. She was really great to work with. She's friendly, caring, enthusiastic, creative, passionate and really listens to what you want and need. She is very serious about her work and will fix what needs fixing (hair ties, loose hairs, weird foot/hand placement) , will make sure that you get the best pictures possible before the session is over. I love Emily and recommend her to anyone looking for family, engagements, weddings, portrait, etc pictures to be taken.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients a little bit before the shoot and have them send me examples of what they like (style, poses, etc) so I can make sure I capture what they want and how they want it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent the last 5 years learning everything I can about photography and have recently spent several semesters in college classes which have taught me so much and improved my talent even more.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out just wandering around my house when I lived in a forest. There was so much beauty around me I just wanted to capture it! Then I fell in love with photography and have spent the last 5 years trying to get better and make a career out of it.
