FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Boudoir is an investment. When it comes to being photographed without with only a "minimal" amount of clothing on it's important to have a professional instead of cutting corners. To keep things spicy I run specials throughout the year, please send us a message to inquire if there are any specials. Boudoir & Champagne photography is competitively priced to offer you a one of a kind experience that you can treasure forever. I believe that every woman should have a piece of art in their hands that celebrates their body in the most beautiful of forms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step #1: The Lingerie Consultation. We begin with a lingerie consultation where we discuss the style of your shoot and potential outfits. Although it has become a staple for me to add flowers to each photoshoot, each boudoir session is unique. I share my Pinterest board with my clients and ask them to create one of their own as well. Boudoir can be both fun, exciting, and a bit scary and my job is to make sure that you are fully prepared for your shoot and all the guesswork is out of the way. Step #2: The Photo-Shoot :: Classy. :: Graceful. :: Sexy. The two words that I use for my photography are feminine and beautiful and I make sure that these words translate into each picture of you that I shoot. I guide you through poses that compliment your figure, no guesswork involved. This isn’t just a photo-shoot but a self care session to rejuvenate the mind, body, & spirit. This shoot is about being true to who you are and releasing the woman inside of you. Step 3: The reveal. The following week we meet for your reveal. I make the process easy and travel to you so that I can present your boudoir pictures from our shoot. I use photoshop like glitter, enough to slightly enhance them and make them sparkle. But I don’t use an amount of photoshop to erase who you are. Because being a real woman is the sexiest thing there is. The sexiest photos have been enhanced via photo-shop for a further polished look and at your presentation you can choose from digital images, albums, fine print, or other deliciously boudoir images. This is your body Gorgeous. And no one can give it the love, self-respect, and beautiful experiences that you can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent some time attending an art program through the Rhode Island School of Design and Carnegie Mellon University but the real training came from the thousands of pictures that I took photographing myself. Before I asked anyone else to participate in boudoir I knew that I had to first master taking my own photos, and mastering what (at what I felt at the time) was my own awkward frame. From there I reached out to my friends and models of all shapes and sizes and the word began to spread!
