FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work in 4 hour blocks. In order to quote you the best rate we would need to discuss the full details of your event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first conversation is very important! It allows me to get fine details about your event such as special songs, moments, color scheme, age range of the guest, favorite genre of music and what you would like the overall mood of the event to be. It also is the time where I get the details about the the venue such as location and the size of the room. This helps me to determine how many speakers and subwoofers I will need. Once we lock in all the details, i explain the hiring process. This consists of an service agreement that I will email to you and a link for payment of deposit to reserve your date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been DJing for 6 years. I am also a singer which gives you that performance factor as I DJ. I don't just stand there and play music, I interact with the crowd and occasionally come from behind the turntables to momentarily join the party. In the past, I have had private lessons at the "Scratch Academy" which was founded by the late Jam Master Jay. Countless hours of practice and performance experience.
