- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer contacts us, we set up a free initial consultation either in person, video-conference, or phone, to learn what the customer wants and needs. If a client decides to book with us for day-of wedding coordination, we require a $75 deposit and a signed contract with the date and location of the wedding already determined. The deposit goes towards the total amount and is not in-addition. Day-of coordination clients will meet with us, in-person, one month prior to the wedding date to set the day-of itinerary for the wedding party and vendors. Another follow-up meeting, either in-person or over the phone, will take place the week prior to the wedding for final confirmations. If desired, the wedding coordinator will be at the ceremony rehearsal up to one hour. Day-of coordination includes up to 8 hours on the day and additional hours may be purchased. Our decoration assistance is $150 for one assistant for two hours to help with all your set-up needs. More hours and assistants can be purchased, contact us for a customized quote. We are also available for just consultation services, purchased by the hour, to help with any of the client's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associates degree and two bachelor degrees to show for my hard work and determination. Many of my college courses where related to organization, planning, economy, ethics, cultural diversity, and business. However, what really has educated me in this field is my experience with events. There is always more to learn in this ever-changing industry, but I have the experience to know the ins and outs of how to plan, organize and coordinate, and the talent to anticipate potential pit-falls so events can run seamlessly.
