I had a very complicated case. The professionalism and knowledge base of Meredith Law surpassed all other lawyers I consulted with.Mar 12, 2018Meredith Law Office, PC's reply
Thank you Amy. It has been a pleasure working with you.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Attorneys typically charge for the time that they work on your case. There are some document preparations that can be charged a flat fee. Cases can be difficult and extensive so fees will be increased over time to complete your case. Bankruptcy cases are typically flat fee as they are short term cases and have more definite course of action. Additional flat fees you might encounter may be to negotiate with lenders, file motions to avoid judgment liens on property, adding creditors after you have filed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We offer a free consult for 30 minutes. During this time we can do overview of the case and give you estimates of what may occur in your case and fees that will be needed to complete your case. If we are both ready to sign a contract for services, we will sign a contract and receive your payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been licensed as an attorney since 2001 in California and 2007 in Utah. I have been practicing both divorce and bankruptcy since that time. I am familiar with Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah County courts as well as the State of Utah Federal Bankruptcy Court.
