FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $125 per session. I am considered an out-of-network provider for insurance purposes, however I encourage all my clients to check with their insurance company on the benefits they have that may assist with some of the cost associated with counseling. I will provide to necessary receipt requested by insurance for my clients to submit for reimbursement as requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy getting to know new clients. We usually start with an intake appointment and assessment. Clients come to my office during their set appointment time and we begin the process by getting to know one another. It's important to develop a strong working relationship from the start. This is an opportunity for me to get to know my new client and for my new clients to get to know me and my style and to begin to feel comfortable in the office. We will discuss what has brought my client to therapy as well as their goals for therapy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Texas Woman's University and a Masters of Science in Social Work Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have worked with individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds for over 17 years.
