- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will talk with the customer about his/her needs and requirements, and give them a quote accordingly. If they decide to book with me, a contract will need to be signed and a deposit needs to be paid with PayPal. The balance will need to be paid on the session date once the pictures are taken. All pictures will be edited and delivered in 3-5 (portrait session) or 5 -10 (wedding and other events) business days.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At first it was a hobby and I bought my first DSLR camera in 2007. When I realized that photography had become my passion, I started my business in 2012 as a life-style children photographer. I have been gradually expanding my business to family pictures, headshot, weddings, solo and couple portrait, and real estate photography in the past few years.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important thing is to see if you like their photography style. Compare different photographers' works and find what you really like. Ask them questions about their experience in working with people like you or people with similar situations. Go over as many details as possible about your session.
